I would not recommend throwing this punch first, better in combinations, if not you can get countered easy

Also, i would concentrate on the stomach, liver and ribs, i dont like the right hook to the body especially, because you can hurt someone´s body much more with your left hand

    hope this helps!!
why is the right weaker than the left o.o?

make sure that you turn your thumbs in so you don't break them on his elbows!

the key is to mix up you body and head shots, go low when he thinks you are gonna go high and vice versa.

also mix up your inside and outside bodyshots. lots of people just throw hooks around the elbows but bring some straight shots and uppercuts straight to the gut and solar plexus too especially if he is squared up.

its very helpful to use your legs to set up bodyshots. make very small, subtle steps and pivots from mid and short range. one of my favorites is pivoting to your right (i like to do it while throwing a right hook) then dig a left hook/uppercut right to the solar plexus. the right hand upstairs is just a distraction shot.

you can do the opposite as well, throw a check left hook pivoting to your left than rip a right uppercut to the body.

the double left hook someone mentioned is indeed very effective, just want to co sign that. roy jones did it very well, study him.

glen johnson used to throw this nice combination where he touches the guy to the gut with his left hand making his opponent bring his right elbow in and as he does glen rips him to the liver.

never underestimate feints either. feint a jab then right hook him to the body. throw a jab, feint a right hand then throw a left hook to the body. then you can get increasingly creative from there.

someone has said its easier to hit smaller guys to the body, for the record i couldnt disagree with that more. maybe its because im tall for my wieght to begin with but i always considered the one downside to boxing smaller guys being that its so hard to get all the way down to their body. anytime i box guys my own size or bigger i have a field day going to the body. love sparring those big HW guys because they are so easy to hit to the body, its just right there.

the liver is located on the right, which is the worst spot to get hit downstairs.
