Ive been boxing for a few years more just sparring and in the gym but im getting serious about it and i want some real fights im 6,1 158 would cutting to 147 be too much or unhealthy? Or am I good? could you guys recommend some tips for cutting healthy

Unlike most of my posts, this will be the exact opposite of being objective: Why cut weight when you can go up? As a small welter, I hate seeing people like you cut weight, I want to be big in my division, stay in your own lane lol, go up so I don't have to deal with big welters... Especially at 6'1? ffs, I am not trying to reach way up there. Have some consideration for your fellow fighters here.

But see how your energy levels are the lower you go. I am 6 foot 2 and 160 pounds and i doubt i could go lower without energy levels dropping. I have a larger bone structure though.Last edited by jas; 04-21-2014, 07:06 PM.
