friend gets nosebleeds a lot

My nose easily bleeds if I get punched on it. Never broke my nose, though.

i see where you're coming from but at the same time its the very best advice

my nose pretty much never bleeds now because i dont get hit on it
nobody's nose gonna bleed slipping or parrying a shot
course you're gonna get hit in this sport but **** in the centre of the face every time you spar? come on THAT's unreasonable

once your mate is competent at defending himself his nose will miraculous hardly ever bleed

one useful thing is for your mate to make sure his chin is down slightly, will change the angle of his nose so that even if he does get hit on it then it won't be on the tip of it probably, maybe the brow will take some of the shot too
he shouldn't be getting hit in the snotter on a regular basis or he isn't good enough to spar, and yeah tell him that bit

i guess that's fair enough to say.. my bad for mistakening your response for a "joke-ish" response.
as to the chin down, now that you mention it.. his chin is quite high (although im shorter in height).. thanks ill let him know XD. but i guess that should be done regardless of nose bleed or not.
