Just curious...do you have this weird issue? :p

I'm wondering something, just out of curiosity...

When I shadowbox and snap my punches my arms hit my face and after a little while my head starts hurting a bit and sometimes lasts a full day with some light neck pain too. When I'm shirtless it sounds as if someones slapping me in the face lol

Not that it bothers me or anything, does this happen to you too?

Try slipping slightly when you punch...otherwise, it's a good thing for your shoulder to touch your chin/face when throwing straight punches...shows good technique and protects your chin from counter hooks.

Not that I know anything about this sport, because I have no video, but it's perfectly normal for your shoulder to bump your chin when you follow through with a right hand. It should bump the side of your jaw/chin. If it's bumping directly into your chin than you've got you head ****ed wrong and you'll be a sucker for a right hand to the jaw.

              It's frickin' elementary guys............... Rockin'

                in that case, its good.
like what previous posters have said.
protect ur chin with that shoulder. just dont overexaggerate and smack urself with it. or just "slip ur head a bit" .
