I often prefer to study guys that dosen't have exceptional athletic ability.

Cotto - pressure, bodywork, his stepping in with the jab, being effective with the jab against guys with longer reach. His defense on the inside and fighting in spurts like in the second margarito fight.

Marquez - counterpunching and defense, subtle movement. I like to watch the diaz fights to study how he counters nonstop pressure, how he sets up his uppercuts.

Golovkin - punching technique, placement of punches.

Matthysse - his defence while moving forward, use of straight right, leverage on punches.

I take different things from different fighters but that can lead to you getting caught some of these guys just know what to do at certain times because its second nature but for me
Rigo Floyd Bernard RJJ (be careful trying to imitate Roy) Ward a lil bit of Broner definately James Toney now let me take it back old school Pernell Trinidad JCC i could go on but honestly i like making up my own stuff lol

I actually find Winky Wright quite interesting to study as it goes.

Watched this video a ton of times. Try these on for size as well.

Peep 4:18. Never seen Rigo get tagged like that...ever lol.

Odlanier Solis used to have a ton of good vids of Rigo sparring and training but it looks like they may have been taken down

I always liked action fighters the most.

Guys I looked up to when I boxed was Naz and Roy jones jr mostly. My style wasn't even close to theirs but they were my first favourites.

I liked Nigel Benn a lot - he was one of my first favourites as well. Mike McCallum was another one of my all time favorites. Ricardo Lopez, Oscar dela Hoya, Mike Tyson...

These were my favourite fighters that I watched growing up.
