    ...Is this a good idea? What's your take?

    which brand do you take and what does it contain? they are normally supposed to be digested during a workout or after but if you forgot it dont hurt to take it before bed as they are for recovery

      Well, I take before a workout about 30mins and straight after it(because after the workout about 20mins what you eat/drink your body will absorb and use it. I just don't know how to explain it in english but you get the point ). Also sometimes I take it before bed time if I forget to take before/after.

          BCAAs give me tons of energy...I'd personally never even think about taking them before going to bed. That's just insane!

              BCAAs ( leucine, isoleucine, valine )

              Play a major role in protein synthesis, so if you are training hard it will help you maintain and re construct muscle tissue while you sleep.

              i recommend you mix from 3-5 grams of it to a protein shake or to your last meal of the day, and yeah that would be a good idea before going to bed.

              I dont feel they give me a ton of energy, but if it intereferes with your sleeping habits just have em a couple of hours before going to bed.
