Here's me in tech school:
Here is me at my First Duty station a year later:
I'm watching myself and I've gotten slower ;like ten times slower. I have lighter gloves in the first one, but it's a 2 oz difference. It really only looks like my technique cleaned up as far as my extension of punches and sticking my punches. Is it my training itself? I've noticed that I may not be using the heavy bag correctly, I try to visualize an opponent because I have a horrible mindset when I spar. You can call it stage fright or whatever, but between my habit of blinking and not being able to translate my skills onto an opponent I found it best to visualize the bag as an opponent. Watching other people though they seem more consistent, almost as if I don't have the ability to punch from many positions which I've also tried doing in the second one, but to no avail I don't think i'm getting it.
