In fact, I had some And 1 basketball shoes that looked very similar to these...

There were the best shoes I've trained in for boxing outside of wrestling shoes. Very comfortable, not too heavy/clunky and they were less than $50 I think. But most basketball shoes I've tried are horrible for boxing for me. I guess it just depends on the specific shoe.

I have these now and as cheap as they are, they are perfect. They are wrestling shoes. They don't have great traction though. I'm going to look for some more wrestling shoes with maybe a little more traction and support on the bottom.

I don't have foot issues but I have flat feet. Use inserts to support. arch.
Which inserts and do they make much of a difference?

I had custom inserts made for my feet when I was in high school. My doctor made them for me when I played football to help correct my walking/running form. I still use them. Probably need new ones lol.

Anyways...my choice came down to either buying a 2nd pair of these BBall shoes which wore out/tore after about a year or less use but are only $40.

or these wrestling shoes for $80

I opted for the BBall shoes. They look kind of big but they're surprisingly very comfortable, decent ankle support and fairly light and good for pivoting.
