Ok do you know there is a difference between a straight right hand and a right cross?
ie with the straight right the arm is perfectly straight and with the right cross the arm is bent at an obtuse angle? (so it can counter and go over the straight right)
Well
I was thinking the hook punches when they start going past 90 degree's at the elbow start to suck, because they loose power, because the circular hook force is cushioned by "give" in the elbow arm and shoulder.
Well I was thinking. Instead of a long range right and left hook you should use a long range right cross and LEFT CROSS. (orthodox)
The reason being is the circular force can be more efficiently delivered by the arm if it knocks the head diagonally back (almost like a straight punch and exactly like a "cross") rather than trying to knock it to the side?
