  • How do you know when you have the perfect hip rotation?

(Good video above explains what I mean by hip rotation or foot rotation)

This is something I found really hard to pick up when I first started, and ive come a long way, but I still find myself making subtle changes and improving the speed and power of my punches. This leads me to my question, how do you know when you have it (hip rotation) down perfectly?

I presume if im still making improvements my hip rotation isn't perfect?

    ...........Here

Does it ever become perfect ie optimal where no more improvements can be made?

At the moment I twist my foot and that rotates my hips, my weight transfers heavily I mean it feels like I fell from a few feet high up onto my other leg, and my punches are powerful heavy feeling (full body weight) and snappy ie very fast, they snap back to their start positions all by themselves.

But if im still making improvements I havnt got it down perfectly, how do you know when you have it down optimally?

Is there any way to tell?

When you doubt as many things as you seem to, and overthink and evaluate as many things as you do, the point where you think you 'got it', be it hip rotation or something else, may never come.

          Yes.

My trainer is impressed with my speed power and hip rotation, as is everyone at my gym

Problem is I have better power mechanics than my trainer. So he cant he
          help me any further

I often find cutting edge info and tips on the net. Which I cant get at the gym.
