    Stocky Opponents and Counters

    Hi all,

Just a question, whenever I fight taller guys, I find them easier. I just normally counter them and whatnot but my main problem is fighting the stockier guys.

I've seen kenny Weldons video on 'The Myth Of Fighting Tall' and he says to bend your knees.

Whenever I spar stocky guys, I've never bended my knees (well I did, just not as much as he said) and whenever I jab I always get countered with a straight or overhand right over my jab.

What do you guys suggest? Should I bend my knees until I get eye level with my opponent?

...Sorry if this sounds a mess lol..

Remember not to drop the jab as well. Meaning when you bring it back, keep it high and don't bring it back chest level or lower.

That's my main problem, I have such a lazy jab like Froch, they're always throwing the right hand over that
