I'd rather eat healthy at least.. pizza & fries? I'd go with like spaghetti and mashed potatoes instead. Turkey sandwiches w/ whole grain, veggies, dairy products.. keep it healthy. Consume more calories(healthy), eat more meals than you do already.

I think when I increase the amount of veg I'm eating and cut down on junk I feel fitter. Also if I have a pizza or something before training it doesn't make me feel sharp when I'm trainining

Pizza is bad carbs to have before training. Before training I'd eat rice with maybe a little meat and a banana.

Put on the weight slowly and do it in muscle not like Marquez did for the Floyd fight. I wouldn't recommend the pizza diet but it's not the worst thing in the world, go heavy on protein.

            Yes it does affect stamina

I know this bc Ive had days where ive ate pizza for dinner & went to train and I was dying. I usually do at least 6 RDS on the heavy bag but I struggled to do 3 lol

Piss in your gas tank and see what happens.

Just think of your body as a car.

Would you rather fuel your engine with some premium oil or crappy ethanol?

You can't compare your body to a car like many here say, everyone is different and it will affect them differently.

I have a friend who eats only junk food and is in excellent shape stamina and look wise, if i eat pizza, croisants, chocolate and other crap for two weeks i will put on a lot of bodyfat that is not hard to take off but will slow me down and affect my stamina.

I gained weight in muscle by switching my gym sessions, instead of 3-4 x boxing per week and 1-2 weight training i went 3 weight training and the rest boxing while eating okayish and taking the needed amount of protein per day that was equivalent to my bodyweight

junk food will hamper your progress. how much depends on your genetics but its always a bad idea. somebody who works as hard as you but eats well too will have a distinct advantage in all areas since what you eat effects everything. it really isnt an area where you want to drop the ball.

have a cheat day a week where you have a pizza or a burger and fries. but if you plan on eating poorly on a regular basis you are better off hanging up the gloves. ppl who dont take boxing seriously enough get hurt so do it right or dont do it at all.
