It was a close fight, you were more active but I think he scored as well as you did. His defense was pretty good and you got tired at the end of the second and third rounds. I think the match up was very good for both of you.

You used your hook to the body very well but you never doubled it up to the head. Also he was wide open for right hands to the body off the jab!! When you fight someone who covers up the way he did you need to go around the gloves first!!! Then try to bust up the middle!!! Going to the body and doubling up to the head was your key to break his defense. Next time you see that type of defense just step around him and punch the body and double up to the head!!! good luck you have the video from now on you should be paying attention to see if your improving your techniques. Leave the finish to the judges, improve!!! Ray

You look very comfortable in the ring. Good foundation. No one could accuse you of not being busy enough which is good. You landed some good hooks to the body as well. I had red corner winning the fight as well though. He definitely landed the cleaner shots and he controlled the fight.

          A few things I noticed.

          1. You fought his fight. You appeared to have the height/reach advantage yet you spent the entire fight following him. He seemed very comfortable letting you bring the fight to him, and timing you on the way in, and landing clean punches in between your combinations. He was at home fighting that way and he lured you into that fight and you gave up your height advantage.

          2. Don't throw punches just to throw them. You were very active but you seemed to throw punches just to throw them. Beginning of the 3rd round was best example. 95% of those punches were blocked. When a guy covers up like that, you should probe for openings and attempt to set things up. Don't just throw punches at full power and speed knowing they'll just be blocked. That wasted a lot of energy and contributed to you getting tired.

          3. Straight lines. If you are going to move forward as much as you did in a fight, don't always come in on a straight line. He was timing you on the way in and beating you to the punch often because you came in on a straight line, in a predictable pattern almost every time without a lot of head movement.
