Tim Bradley should put out a workout video on how to bulk up for boxing. A lot of guys seems to want to do that.

Eat more plain an simple. get atleast 1g protien per pound of bodyweight. anything over is pointless unless your above the age of 40 were protien sythesis is decreased. 500 calories more than you regular metabolic level a day will have you gaining 1 lb a week. Doesnt mater if it comes fat carbs or protien. iwould suggest getting atleast 50g of fat as well a day to keep testerone levels high.

no.
boxers boil their bodies down when they train. boxing is hugely cardiovascular. a built up body isn't suited for the demands of the sport.
most of your favorite fighters are very hungry in the weeks leading into a fight. some of them drop 30+ lbs in a two month training camp, and put on 15 lbs or more after they weigh in.
if you're not an actual fighter, and you're "boxing" to get into shape, do whatever you want, man. drink your juice.
if you're a fighter and you're lookign to make weight and do well in your fights, you don't want to "bulk up."

Bulking is as simple as increasing your caloric intake. The type of foods I recommend would be slow digesting proteins like peanut butter and for carbs eat a lot of potatoes and whole-grain pasta's, or if you're on a budget you could always do a gallon of milk a day (GOMAD). Cut out all processed and gluten food sources from your diet, you want to increase lean muscle mass and healthy fat without building up toxins in the body. Stop all long endurance training and switch to short interval sprints for cardio.Last edited by L3TH4L; 10-11-2013, 01:10 AM.
