start there and get it proper with every movement being fast and sharp. The best unwritten law in the ring, when you get finished punching you'd better get that head out of the way because thats when the fists are generally fired back. never just leave it sitting at 12 o'clock or your bells will soon be ringing......... you stated that mma guys have great head movement, I disagree. Most mma head movement is still in the stone age, a good jab will pick that headmovement off so easily but I am still looking for an 'educated' jab in the mma. Anyway, the headmovement for mma is still in elementary school as opposed to boxers. mma headmovement entails some joke of a head feint and then bum rushing the guy............ Rockin'

I apologize if i said that but the MMA elites are not to far behind.... I have no problem taking a Johnny Hendricks putting him in a boxing ring and matching him up against a Chavez Jr. and "bum rushing him" chavaz would go down and go down quick... I grew up with wrestling and boxing so i been in these worlds and a lot of these boxers are bums... I am not mad at anyone i just don't like that like smartass comments... I have coached more then a few boxers and they won im just saying... I could be wrong but i don't like that guys smart ass comments.

Haahaha this is very true and I like mma. MMA fighters have the shytiest head movement in the world. Except maybe Machida but he isn't so much head movement as it is simply range control to the master degree.

Best technique in mma is Dan Hardy. Not the best by boxing criteria and he has an obvious tell but he has the best technique. Watch him, you'll see what I mean.

Okami has an educated jab. Pretty much all he can do stand up.

Those two guys will put you off quick. I have a feeling you won't like them but it's the best mma can produce closest to boxing criteria. For a educated jab and technique.

For someone seeking boxing training advice there is no MMA fighter that they should be learning from.

It's a different sport and their stand up is horrible for the most part.

Unless they've come up with 3D tape, I'm not aware of any other ways to hang tape...

I kid, I kid. Your advice is solid.
