  • In need of serious help please

I saw myself in the mirror closely, sadly all I saw was a 25yr old piece of lard. I even have man boobs now. I used to be in shape due to boxing in my teen years, also thanks to my high metabolism. I grew up got a job, started college, had no time to exercise and ate nothing but junk food. Now I suffer the consequences, anyway I am determined to change my life and get ripped like in my teen years. Can someone please share their daily diet meals and gym workout routines/boxing drills. I wanna use the sport that I love to get back to shape.

BTW: Today I was sparing a friend. I couldn't even finish a 3 min round

if your extremely overweight and out of shape, don't worry about sparring/boxing workouts. you need to be in shape to get in boxing shape if you know what I mean.

Start running, work your way up. Swim, jump rope, work on getting the weight off. Hit the sauna even.
Once you feel light on your feet and better in general, then join a boxing gym and go from there, but if you rush into it your confidence will get hammered.

Just eat right man, its not hard. You don't need a crazy diet plan. Is the food good or bad for you, that's all you need to ask yourself when tempted to eat something. Not everything has to be cold turkey, if your eating habits are HORRIBLE, work your way down. Also, start replacing bad foods you love with good ones. If you love coke, start drinking diet coke instead till you work your way down to just water. If you love tea, start drinking green teas. If you love milk chocolate bars, start eating dark chocolate bars.

Break your bad habits, and get your weight down. That's all you should be focusing on right now.

Good luck and I wish u the best, glad your trying to turn ur life around.

not even baby steps, you don't wanna delay it that much. go hard at whatever you do. if your focusing on getting the weight off then go hard, run miles every day do sprints run hills etc. but don't combined that with boxing workouts as well. youll be fine

        thanks a lot !
