A new Southpaw to study - Thabiso Mchunu

This guy looked spectacular against Chambers. Completely outclassed him. Great defense. Very good footwork (utilizes a wide stance but uses his upper body for defense and keeps his feet planted, ready to punch back). Very sharp. I like this guy's style a lot.

Sidenote: Chambers looked horrible. But that's what happens when a guy who is used to being the faster guy gets in with someone faster than they are. It changes EVERYTHING!

This guy has good balance. Wish hed stay in the pocket a lil more and mix it up but gotta do what ya gotta do.

Chambers looked horrible. Didnt look into it at all. Just cause youve fought klitschko doesnt mean ur gonna run over these guys, he clearly wasnt in tip top shape.

I've seen him fight a number of times, he definitely has been improving from fight to fight, didn't expect him to beat chambers but he did. He should get a new promoter though, the one he is with struggles to get him good fights and often Mchunu is left to stay inactive for long periods of time.

He's a talented fighter, that fight though was terrible. Hard to sit through it for 12 rounds.

mchunu fights like a poor man's rigondeaux. watch rigondeaux, and then put on the chambers fight.

chambers has also never fought tall in his life. he's never been in a situation where he should be able to hurt his opponent. he had no idea what he was supposed to do in there. he's cw sized HW who learned how to fight fat, with fat guys. now that he's fighting other CW he has no idea what to do.

in addition to mchunu being a nice little southpaw, chambers sucks and is all done. he should move back to HW and try and make some money as an opponent and hope to steal a fight or two.

that mchunu guy was built like a f#cking dump truck. i was not expecting him to move and counterpunch, especially looking at his record of early stoppages. props to him for a win, but that was an awful fight. awful card, really.

If your Unorthodox you should fight Unorthodox. It's to your advantage

Shocked the **** out of me too. Most guys built like that have little mobility, are fairly slow and not very powerful and graceful. He was pretty much the opposite of all the above.

I'll throw my name on this too . . . I was quite surprised at how well he moved.
