The one thing I do highly recommend everyone looking to loose weight is avoids eating foods high in sugar, high sodium, deep fried foods, pastries, starches and regular milk. A good substitute for regular milk is skim milk and almond milk. Avoid soy milk. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. Post your weekly progress. I'd be happy to hear you reached your goal.
Most of your advice sounds good. Just curious why one has to get used to meal timing. What about people have who had great results with intermittent fasting? I've read total daily consumption of food is more important to when and what size portion meals are eaten. I.E. if you eat all your requirements for the day in one large meal, there's no difference between that and spacing out your requirements into smaller meals throughout the day.

If weight loss is mainly about calories in vs. calories out, why would you recommend against calorie counting? Trying to lose weight without knowing how many calories your body burns on a given day and how many calories you're consuming is just taking a shot in the dark. Even guessing would be better than not worrying about calories at all.

And why do you recommend people avoid whole milk? I switched from skim milk to whole milk recently because I wasn't getting enough fat in my diet. I've lost about 5 kg (11 pounds) over the past 2 months drinking 800 ml of whole milk almost daily. And the reason for that is because I was still within my caloric limit that I set for myself.

The reason for meal timing is to take advantage of the two windows of opportunity that you have throughout a 24 hour span of time in order to repair and build muscle as well as activate your metabolism for fat burning. This is why intermittent fasting works, however what you eat, how much you eat and how often you eat a determines your results. This is why we ask what is your goal? If it's to loose weight, gain muscle mass, look like a body builder, be athletically superior, and so on. If you're just trying to loose weight your best to loose weight, calorie counting can be overwhelming and that's usually the first thing you'll give up on but if you're trying to get into fight shape and make a certain weight class the calorie counting is a great tool. I don't recommend regular milk because of the saturated fat, hormones and preservatives. We humans are the only mammals that continue drinking milk after detaching from our mothers breast.
