          Thats where I started.... 5x5 @ 225 for a year and I ended up at 5x5 @ 295lbs.

            • Started dieting and lifting weights 3 weeks ago. What level of body fat would you guys recommend before starting a bulk? The problem is I'm talk and lanky so for me to strip off most of my body fat I look super skinny.

                If you're tall and lanky, you shouldn't have to worry about losing body fat before you begin to bulk up. In fact, if you moderate your diet as you lift for mass, you can simultaneously put on lean muscle and burn fat. Throw in 30 minutes of cardio after you lift 2-3 times a week to burn fat.

                  Gotcha. I can't even imagine letting the doc cut my sack open twice...once for the vasectomy and then again for the reversal. Damn! Well congrats on your upcoming marriage, and watch your nads after the surgery.

                      Me: female, 39 years, 2 kids.
                      Train: crossfit and lifting weights (usually 8-10 reps). I train 4-5 times a week.
                      Looking forward to get inspired in here :-)
