    Not really.

Decline is a shorter range of motion, which is why it is typically easier. Flat bench is a compound movement, provides full range of motion, and is a harder, but more efficient workout.

I don't completely neglect decline bench, but I don't sweat it if I decide to skip it every now and then.

      • Hit back this morning. Good workout overall. Pulled 475 lb. Then tried 500 and failed. I'm already sore a shit. I probably won't be able to stand up tomorrow, lol.

        • I need to do the same, if I ever work chest again. It's been a LONG time since I've done flat dumbbells.

          • I do a similar routine for back, Reed. I don't use the seated row machine because I just don't like it, but I don't have any legit reason for it, lol.

One week I will deadlift, the next week I'll rack pull. I don't shoot for any certain rep range, because these are more designed to build strength. So I go for heavy weight after my warm up sets.

Then I'll go to lat pulldowns 4 sets by 8-12 reps
            Reverse lat pulldowns """"
            Seated Row """"
            One arm dumbbell row """"

Sometimes I'll throw in some face pulls or some other random back exercise.

                  • I'm gonna bulk hard this winter, then cut for next summer.

Larry, front load that creatine, my man. 5g (or 1 rounded teaspoon) 4 or 5 times a day, for 5 days straight. Then after that just drop it back down to 5g a day. You'll notice a pretty significant increase in strength, and as Reed pointed out, some extra water weight.

Drink you a lot of water. Try to shoot for at least a gallon and a half per day.
