blocking the uppercut

man im having problems with this punch and this pun ch only. man as you all have seen i made the thread about my nose getting busted it was the uppercut that did it. people hit me with this shot at will even from a distance n i cant block it. how do you block the uppercut? i try to close my guard but it still doesnt work smh

Roll them or slip them on the inside. Stick a long jab/straight right hand in his face when he tries it from the outside................. Rockin'

Don't stand square up. Don't lean forward from the waist. With two orthodox fighters, get your left shoulder and hip into him; that blocks the right uppercut. Keep your elbows tight and drop the right glove on the left uppercut. If you square up in close you will eat uppercuts like popcorn.
