Which are better?

Rival Sparring gloves 18 ounce

Never wore the Rival but do not get the Reyes for sparring. Save youre opponent.

Reyes is a great glove for everything BUT sparring.

The construction on the Reyes is probably hands down better than Rival, but as far as fit and feel, it's all subjective.

Personal fit is on you! As for the 18oz gloves for sparring their huge! I can't imagine going above 16oz and even then unless lyhvy or Hvys are sparring I never used more than 14oz. My favorites were Ben Bow, Reyes, Shevlan, and some Everlasts! Ray.

I ended up going with the Rivals, the protection on the wrist is great, good buy overall.
