Im trying to find many of the lost principles and tactics from "old school" boxing (40's,50's,60's) that are not used by many modern day fighters today......for example- fighting off the back leg heel down or facing the opponents centreline, etc etc

Anyone else have any old school principles they'd like to share? any links?
Trying to get more knowledge on the some of the lost principles of boxing

You will find the old scchool fighters had their hips and shoulders at the same angle giving a smaller target and far more leverage on the rear hand (Right hand on orthodox). Modern fighters tend to have their shoulders more open which is not good.
Old school fighters tended to have have far better footwork with fast small steps with no lunging.Willie Pep is a good example.

Feinting, lots of intricate footwork techniques, and particuarly inside fighting and bodypunching were all mastered better by older fighters. There were a lot more fighters back then who were true students of the art, they had dozens and dozens of tricks and traps to throw at you that you don't see often nowadays. (but you get the odd guys like hopkins, toney and floyd who do use some of these things)
