just let me say that boxing is not all about counter striking, many times you have to attack creating the openings yourself.

I don't feel like typing much right now, chapters and chapters could be written about fighting south paws. In the ams I fought a bunch of southpaws, Corey Johnson and I fought 3 or 4 times, fought a guy named Marcus Allen 4 or 5 times and and there were others but nobody got the better of the series of bouts against me.

I like you on here, I'll get back to you on this when I have more time............... Rockin'

Blasphemy...by the way, any southpaw worth shiet will hardly ever get hit with right hands except for in close range since that is what most right handers look for.

In the time it took you to explain why you don't have time to respond to the question, you could have responded to the question lol.

lol, so you could say also that any conventional fighter who is any good will not be hit by any left hands from a south paw. You're in a dream world there.

No matter how good you are you will be hit with those shots through your career. The last few times that I was in a ring I was working with Bill Millers south paw who had 20+ pro fights and was a super middle. My right hand was bouncing off of his head constantly by working counters from his jab. Actually, the shots are thrown at nearly the same time. Blasphemy, lmao. Take your play ground fighting tactics elsewhere............. Rockin'

If you think that fighting a south paw as a conventional fighter can be explained in 2 or 3 sentences then you must be a noob to the ring........ Rockin'

Righties have harder time defending against southpaw left than the reverse because righties don't fight southpaws as often. Southpaws on the other hands more comfortable fighting opposite handed fighters so are more comfortable defending against the straight right than righties against straight left.

Yes, right hands will land, particularly in close quarters of course. Experience doesn't always equate to being skilled. There are TONS of highly experienced, trash boxers. Maybe this Millers guy is one of them lol. And what I am saying is any southpaw who consistently gets hit with right hands from a right handed fighter is either reckless or is not very skilled.

Would love to see you attempt to throw right hands in the middle of a decent southpaw setting up a combination with jabs...all it takes is a slight step to the right away from your right and you're wide open for a left...

BTW, the fact that you were consistently landing straight right hands against this Millers guy who is a southpaw off his jabs says it all. The guy must be trash. Jabs should be thrown at a decent distance and your right hand has to travel far to land....so if you were landing them, either this guy is as slow as frozen molasses, leans in or overextends as he jabs or had his eyes closed when he was jabbing lol.

I can see landing left hooks against a southpaw's jab, but right hands? Fluck outta here with that **** lol.

Don't let garbage "professional" boxers gas you.

And all it takes for a conventional fighter is to slip the south paws jab to the left while letting the right hand go at the same time, they walk right into it when they are attacking. I was throwing punches with world class south paw fighters and what I stated works.

you do your thing and I'll do mine. Just wondering, where did you fight out off, who trained you and how many am/pro fights did you have. Or are you just repeating what the parrot next you said...........Rockin'

You don't even know who Bill Miller was, do you?

Yeah, Corey Johnson was a trash fighter, Bronco McCart was trash, Anthoney Jones was trash and every other southpaw that I ever threw punches with was trash.

                    you're fricken clueless.............Rockin'

Fair enough...I'll give you this. I know it works because I've done this with righties as well. But I will admit that neither I or the people I've fought or sparred against are very seasoned at all. But I used the word "consistently being hit" for a reason...this should only work on a decent fighter a few times max. At some point, they need to adjust. I fight southpaw, and trust me, all it would take is for you to pull this on me two, maybe three times before I adjust. Either concede that you're too fast and I should be more responsible with my attack, or feint in an effort to counter your counter right hand. Regardless of my experience, yours or whoever you've fought, you have to be a trash boxer to consistently get hit with the same set up over and over again. Your standard for "world class" is low.
