  • Best abdominal exercises for boxing? I want to not get winded!

Like I know the basic exercises for abs etc, but what are the best ones for protecting my organs and from getting winded?

Like Im not looking for a pretty 6 pack, but I am looking for the ability to take a punch real well.

No matter how many exercises you do, you gotta take some bodyshots say with medicine ball or something like that. That conditions you the best for it. Some good general exercise are here:

Abdominals should be trained twice every eight
      days with weight.

You DO NOT need to do 500 sit-ups every day; what you are trying to do is build deep, thick abdominals and a strong, stable core.

Overall conditioning (especially with cardio) helps heaps...

Do your roadwork and sprints, they help with preventing you from getting winded. Make sure you do CORE work, not just abdominal in the sense that you are doing basic crunches, take the sides as well as the lower back.

          Especially the first link

Ab workouts are probably the training filled with the most ridiculous myths.
