How do you slip textbook? I rotate my hips and dip 1 leg but I find it makes me lean in chin first and kinda adds momentum to an incomming punch.
Why do a tonne of pros bend at the waist to slip punches, despite it going against textbook advice ie you wont be in a position to instantly follow up with a counter punch? (Is it faster? Is that why guys like sweet pea use it)
Why not bend sideways at the waist slipping the Tyson way? (It seems to have the best of both worlds, it gets you out of the way as fast as bending foward at the waist and allows you to instantly fire a counter shot which bending foward at the waist does not allow you to do)
Im a fairly tall southpaw so not tysons shape at all, does that mean I shouldnt use the Tyson style slip or dosnt it make any difference?
