These seasoned pros are NOT going to change much, methods can change but techniques are difficult because once they're under fire your natural or techniques learned when your young are going to take over thats the term "can't teach an old dog new tricks" its true 100% of the time.

Ray, I agree with your post. Manny was a great fighter . He is getting on a bit and makes a big mistake and gets to pay for it and KOd and all his previous woek is forgotten and ignnored.That is harsh.

Manny is a boxer puncher at best. He is incredibly fast, strong and has KO power in both hands.

Marquez is much more skilled as a boxer but boxing isn't always about that. I have seen many, many times where the less skilled, more conditioned fighter wins because of pure heart and balls.

We tend to forget that boxing is getting punched in the face. It's not for everyone and you can look great on the mitts, heavy bag, double end bag, shadow and speed bag and get your ass kicked.

You can make a habit out of mistakes or look terrible on each of those and still get your ass kicked as well.

...Manny made a big mistake by feinting and following the feint by stepping in without and punches being thrown. He basicly did a double feint but did nothing!! He got countered by a very LATE punch and paid for it. I do think the punch was LUCKY only because it was so LATE! Juan slipped outside and countered but he was LUCKY it landed, latest punch I ever saw land! Ray
