Hello everyone I am now 120 pounds, and Im more a speedy fighter and I just started boxing. I go to the boxing gym 4-5 days a week, 3-4 hrs training each days and I wanna add strength/power training for 2 days in a week, I cant add 3 days as I think I need at least 1 day a week to rest. I wanna increase my explosive power (speed+strength) without affecting my endurance, stamina or my "wind". So here's are some questions.
1. Should I weight training or stick with calisthenics like other boxers in my gym do?
2. What exercises should I do?
3. Should I build a strength base first with like 5x5 with medium to heavy weight or start off with power training like 3x3-5 with heavy weight?
4. Should I add plyometrics with my strength/power training to increase my speed?
