years then after i bought my own a week lol. -
next week im gonna start strength and boxing technique training.

Nice bro. You're a natural if you mastered it within a few days.
Took me a week or two before I mastered it. Mastered in the sense that I could go as fast as I wanted, and didn't even have to look, I just felt my rhythm. . .
I like to switch up hands. I'll go 5-3, 3-5, 2-3, 2-1, etc. Like 3 times with left hand, and then 5 times with right hand, etc.
I also like circling the bag hitting it with different angles as it's moving.

I got to grips with it in about a week.
I would go down to the gym 20 minutes early to use it, I kept doing this though even after I learned how to use it. It was a drill I really enjoyed.Comment

I've improved and gotten pretty good on it over time.
Mastered? I'll never consider myself a master of anything. There's always someone better.Comment

Been working on it for off and on for 16 years, longer on the double end bag and longer on the heavy bag. I've mastered none of them. I can look pretty good on them, and keep a consistant workout and keep the bag moving. But mastery of it.... not even close.
But I think you in your excitement of being able to work the bag consistantly, you probably just chose the wrong word to describe your new found talent.
