    Diet is everything.
that depends on your genetics and age. some people can literally eat whatever the hell they want in their youth and into their 20's.
most of them do not have raging appetites, but they are out there. eventually a poor diet catches up to everybody.

I would just suggest you work on an exercising program more defined then what you said in your post (unless you do and just didnt mention it). And there is a ton of information out there on the internet when it comes to losing weight and building muscle. Look up some stuff so you know exactly what you wanna do.
You're absolutely right. I just read Michael Johnson's book, and he stresses the importance of having definite goals and making sure you stick to them.

I'll be sure to do a concrete plan, thanks for the advice.

at his stage weight training and calistenics are going to do FAR more for improving his body composition than jogging will. flexibility and mastering form and certain exercises are key at the beginning. dont want to ingrain any bad form habits early. im talking about hitting parallel and lower on squats. keeping a vertical spine. proper hip mobility/shoulder stability.

also, mad respect for your sig/avatar....PENSICOLA IN THE HOUSSEEEE!!!!

Photo taken today. About to start eating properly/exercising. I'll add a photo every couple of weeks or so.

          Height: 175cm/5'9

          Current weight: 173lbs/78kg

I'll run, swim, do armcurls, squats, pressups and situps.
Have at it bro! As Horton said, I'm here to assist in any way possible. Feel free to PM me whenever and I will respond as soon as I can.

My advice: Be FULLY dedicated, EAT CLEAN, and TRAIN HARD! Drink a LOT OF WATER. As a matter of fact, that is ALL I drink now and I've seen the results. I've cut out a lot of calories that way and water is GREAT for the body. Set short term and long term goals and see to it that you achieve them!

Can't wait to see your progress and make sure you document your transformation (ie pictures every week or two weeks to see the changes).

                New weight: 75kg (166lbs)

8 months ago I was walking around at Cruiserweight, now I'm a healthier middleweight.

I feel I've done well with weights and cardio, but the diet hasn't been easy. I have catered food at University this year which is fatty as hell. I've been taking it easier on the biscuits and drink though.

Sorry about the image size, I'll upload a bigger one at some point

Since this is a boxing forum i'd suggest that you join a boxing or even an mma gym.

Nothing will get you in better shape that the stuff they will have you do there. Plus it's fun and you learn something.

Personally i never could stand just going to the gym and lifting weights or running on a thread mill.
