    how to improve your stamina

    how else can i improve my stamina except going out running?

      Go out running more!

      lol. Nothings more effective than running for me. I cant stand roadwork,to me its the most mundane tiring thing in the world, but it works, why would u need anything else?

      My runs at the moment (about 8 weeks till my next fight) consist of 15 minute runs counting the number of laps i can do of the football pitch, i try to improve by at least half a lap every week. i run 3/4 times a week normally. In a few weeks i will start doing interval sprints, hill sprints etc.

      Swimming, skipping, cycling, rowing etc are all pretty good as well i think, but i wouldnt put them above running.

        i run about a mile on a saturday and 2 miles on a monday and wednesday because i train on a tuesday thursday and friday

          do a long run once off the running day 5-6 miles.

          the other days warm upp with a mile jogging and than do 10-20 sprint intervals each 20-30sec sprints 20-30sec break, do this in hills and/ore stairs.

          it will encrease your anarob stamina.

                  You really dont run enough man. you want good stamina you need to run. And running one mile isnt going to do anything for you. You'd hardly get warmed up even. when i run I run at least 3 miles and if I am training for a fight its 3 miles plus 10 laps around a track doing the interval sprinting. and try and do that at least 3 times a week.
