  • Beans as breakfast?

Im wondering can it be a good idea and healthy if i reverse my breakfast and dinner with beans with vegetables as breakfast and a bowl of milk with organic cereals oatmeal with milk as evening meal?

I have trouble when coming back from work stressed eating those boring beans and instead find myself grabbing something unhealthy with lots of sugar instead.

if you can stomach it, why not. they're full of fibre and protein.

i am not one who sticks to the so-called rules of breakfast food and dinner foods. i have had szechuan food for breakfast and eggs for dinner lots of times. curried chicken breast for breakfast and french toast for dinner.

it doesn't really matter as long as it's healthy.

Guys like olivares, Chavez, rodolfo gonzalez, chiquita gonzalez...the list goes on and on. They grew up poor in Mexico and I would guess that they ate beans three times a day. Read John Steinbeck's "Tortilla Flats." Everybody knows that beans are good food.

          Some bean protein info,
Beans by itself do not make a complete protein. Basicly things like eggs, dairy, meat and seafood are a complete protein.
However if you combine beans with seeds, beans and nuts, or beans and grains such as rice it will form a complete protein.

i guess that's the reason we (people) eat them with rice so often. i know i do.
