    I do both. I start with roadwork & end every session with an all out sprint.

      Well, both are important. The thing about sprints is they give very fast results, but then stop helping. Roadwork is the opposite, you see slow, but long term sustainable results. If you only have a tiny bit of time, or are lazy, sprints will make you fit enough to fight. If you really want the edge however, whats best is doing roadwork up to about a month before a fight, and then sprints. That way, you get the amazing boost to performance from the sprints, but with a higher base aerobic level than the other guy who just did sprints, and without all the stalling, over training and injuries
