Weird question about wearing mitts.

I have fingernails fungus on one of my nails and I was wondering if moisture from wearing the mitts would affect it a lot. I know I'm supposed to keep it dry, but would 6 3-minute rounds do a lot of damage?

At least it will keep your gloves / mitts dry, as for your fingernail see a doctor.

I've boxed for several years and had the fungus for several years, too. I just train people now, and I'm looking to get rid of the fungus.
