Maybe because the question you are asking has been answered 50 times on the first page alone. Look around the training section and you will see the same questions and the same answers.

Depends on calorie intake and the calories you burn. With you doing a more strenious workout with boxing and liftingg, your body will require more calories to keep the muscle you have. So yes, if you are burning more calories throughout the day than you are taking in, you WILL lose weight.

And just a suggestion, take it or leave it, when doing bench do dumbells, and not barbell. It allows your shoulder(s) to move more freely/natural, less stress on your rotator cuf, etc.

We should have a Training and Nutrition FAQ.

To answer the OP's question. Curls are usually done for aesthetics, rehab purposes or to correct muscular imbalances. They don't do much in boxing other than make your biceps big, nothing more. If you really want to strengthen your biceps chin ups, rows and deadlifts will help and the added benefit is that they're multi joint exercises which will have a better carryover to your training.

It sounds like you care more about looking good at the beach than about actually becoming a good fighter.
