  • P90x - Day by Day

I Started p90x today, just thought I'd post up a thread to keep me motivated.

Over the last 12 months ive gone from 354 lbs to around 270. Ive been stuck at this weight for a while now moving from 270-280 as im sick of being stuck at this weight I thought I'd give p90x a go.

Day 1 04/06/2012 - Complete - Wow that was hard work, Im gonna be sore in the morning lol

    This is my diet plan

    Egg white + Mushroom omlette
    Carrot juice

    Banana
    Apple

Chicken breast + mixed veg + sweet potato/jacket potato

    Tin of tuna

    Chicken/Turkey/Salmon + Pasta/Rice + mixed veg

Also there will be a post workout recovery shake in there.

Keep it up! Skinless Boneless chicken breast is your friend... After day one I could barely move.... Then the first time I did the ab ripper... I mostly just laid there TRYING to move i was so sore.

This is true... I think the workouts are on dailymotion or youtube or other ******ing device as well. But Its definately available for anyone with sticky
              Efingers.

Theres also some documentation that comes with it that is important reguarding diet and schedule of workout, but most of that can be found or put together from peoples blogs.

In my opinion, if you pay for it, you'll appreciate it more and work a little harder at it... But on the same note, I think its a bit overpriced...

The videos also kind of act like commercials for Beachbody's recovery drink and their energy bars and such... In my opinion, those aren't really that crucial to the process. If you need a little extra energy or recovery just get a big container of creatine. But honestly if you follow the diet portion, you're going to constantly feel low on energy during the fat burner process because you're only given one serving of complex carbohydrates a day. Eventually you'll add more as the program goes on. On one end it sucks because you feel weaker after a couple weeks in, on the positive side you start understanding what carbs do and how your body feels when its low on them.
