    Fight specific exercises

    (apologies if this question sounds ******)

    Was wondering weather Dips, Pull ups and Bench press were beneficial for athletic boxers?

    Its all beneficial. Plyo's, weights, body weight, cardio, etc. is all beneficial for any and all athletes. The key is balance. How to balance and make sure each different exercise cancels out the others weaknesses. At the end of the day sparring and fighting is what should be pushed to the forefront in training. There is only so much you can do to develop your body before one realizes that the mind,brain, ring iq, experience.....what have you, is what should get the most attention when training. I got a bit off topic but i tried putting the big picture together. Good luck in training!

      Yep those are good exercises. I like to stick with the big compound moves; squat, bench, overhead press, deadlift, bent rows.
