Spending $400 on shoes doesn't guarantee they'll last forever. It's good you're looking for quality stuff but no need to overdo it. From what I've read Adidas boxing shoes are durable and not too expensive. Would recommend those as a good option. My trainer has also pointed to Nike as a great high-end option which is perhaps closer to what you're looking for. Would read up on the Nike website for reviews on durability though.
That's true. I know someone paid around that much for a pair of those crappy Kanye kicks and they were done in a month
