how old are you? lower back pain is common for adult humans, but that's a bit different from what you're describing.

I had the same trouble back when. The problem is probably not in your back but in your back leg muscles. Be sure to stretch those muscles out before you do anything, running, boxing, etc. The lower back muscles must compensate for your tight leg muscles, blah blah. Start stretching thoroughly, especially the back of your legs and I'll bet your back troubles disipate to nothing in a week or so..........Rockin'

I need to try this out iv always had terrible lower back pains which usually prevented me doing my circuit work at the end of the gym session I always thought it was because I was tall saying that when I stand straight my spine kind of sticks out maybe I need to strengthen it.

i have the same problem and have been seeing a chiropractor for the last 2 months which has really helped. she has told me i have too much rotation in my pelvis and a slight curve of the spine. the advise i have been given is basically what rockin says. ur lower back muscles tighten up because theyre trying to protect ur lower back and this makes it unbearable to run. just have a good stretch and take ur time for the first mile or so of ur run and if u need to stop for a stretch during ur run then do it. i have also been advised to do lots of core muscle excersizes like planks and side planks etc. hope this helps mate.

yeah man, at the very least spend a few bucks on your feet/shoes. that very well could be the root of it.

I had lower back pain for years, then finally I decided to see a chiropractor. He took and X-ray and showed me one vertebrae that was tilted in an odd direction. Needed one treatment and a tuned-up every month. I found that stretching got rid of the pain and I haven't been back to the chiro for about ten years. The amazing thing is that the medical doctors tried to tell me it was all in may head!

Looks like we could all form a lower back pain club.

Mines has been sore ever since I missed the crash mat trying to complete a dive forward roll.
