I do chinese boxing which involves kicks, knees and throws also so i need to protect that ribcage in all honesty, one of my coaches was telling me that if I were to have my hand down in a fight against him, he would just wait and ko me right there on the chin, he says it 's coming from experience to keep my hands up but I like to drop them alot because... you know... I'm slick

Paul Williams had this opinion before the rematch with Sergio Martinez. Who am I to argue?

plenty of the best fighters today fight with the lead hand low
and many of the best of the past have done it as well.

they roll with the shoulder if they cant move out of the way and take a step back if they can

sure the best fighters in the world do it but this kid is green, an infant in the boxing world still learning to walk. His eyes will not be that sharp at picking things up yet, they won't be any where close to being sharp enough.

I really couldn't care less about what the kid does. He'll either take the advice or dismiss it until he steps in with the boys that have hands quicker than his eyes.

Keep your hand at your waiste and sooner than later somebodies gonna set him on his ass, no skin off of my nose...........Rockin'

hands up midrange(not where you wanna be if you're the one on defense, use your legs and move)
counter punchers game(lead hand down like you want it) at long range

that's how the top boys do it atleast

I'm just suprised that since the days preceding the Marquess of Queensberry, no one had ever realised how overrated keeping the guard up is.

                      So many wasted centuries.
