That's the key. You really want to get protein almost immediately after working out. That helps tremendously.Comment

If your new to training/training harder this is going to happen. You body should build resistance over time.

- try eating a few eggs before you go to bed
- get SLEEP (8+ hours)
- Water if your not getting enoughComment

I take a protein shake with gatorade powder mixed in and a multi vit right after working out. I shoot for 50 grams protein and 70 grams carbs (your needs will vary). Then, a full meal two hours later.
Labrada "Sorenzyme" helps for soreness if you have issues in that area.
Also, if you sweat a lot during your w/o, an electrolyte supp can do wonders in helping your body and mind function better after intense training.Comment

Carbs are just important as protein immediately after a workout, since your sugar/glycocen levels drop, you need to bring them back up along with a recovery (protein) source.Comment
