The talent has to be there. But, when you get to a certain level of your respective sport, it's gonna take more than just natural ability. It's gonna boil down to two things, hardwork & perseverance.

no. you bring talent into the sport with you. hard punching, speed, strength, your chin

you might develop your body over time in youth, but talent is essentially genetic variation, and you are born with that.


hard work is what you need for everything else, and it's much more important than the talent you bring into boxing.
conditioning, learning, developing confidence and toughness, muscle memory


if you arent a very talented guy going in to the sport you shouldnt expect yourself to develop into one over time.
