There's this: http://www.goldenringabc.co.uk/. There supposed to be the best in the area, I know a few people who use it and am gonna start going there myself after my own club closed.
Where you come from originally and how long have you been boxing for? Make your own mind up though matey, there is a couple of others but have heard nothing but good about this place. I hear they compete quite regularly which is a good sign -

This was the only one I saw originally but It's a good hour away from where I'm living now unfortunately. It's also £5 a sessions and I'm at Uni so I'm broke. I used to pay £1 a session back in my hometown.
I'm originally from Devon and went to Exmouth ABC for about a year as a junior but quit to concentrate on my education and now I really want to get back into it.

Dude you say Southampton but then you say an hour away? You completely the other side of town then towards Hedge End or somink?
Was in a club all last summer before it closed (unfortunately). I was gearing up to compete in the coming summer/autumn and thats part of the reason for looking at those guys, I hear they compete and there good.
Can't really offer any advice on other clubs in S'oton. But if you get any news on other clubs in the area let me know, i'd be interested to hear.
