bring it half way back and shoot again but you don't even have to bring it that far, you just have to make sure that the wrist is turning with it.. you can get the same power on both shots..............Rockin'

It seems everyone has there own opinion on it, I personally dont like to reset, your wasting too much time trying to prevent getting hit when u can be vulnerable for a mini-second and catch em right when they throw the punch.

when u double jab resetting the 2nd jab u miss that split opportunity catching them right when there going to attack back, IMO

I feel if you don't throw from the shoulder on the second jab, you're not going to get enough pop out of it. Also, when you throw a jab, your chin goes from being protected by your glove to being protected by your shoulder as you extent; if you stop half way, you're twice as vulnerable. Timing a right hand over the jab is a common and effective strategy, so creating twice as much of a defensive hole while throwing arguably your most important punch is a bad idea.

Sometimes on the bag after a jab I will throw a few of those old time bare knuckle type Jabs..The kind where the guard is out farther and the arm goes up a little and straight out without the arm rotating inwards..Any ways it seems to really work the initial launch muscles hard and alloys a faster reset so you can fire em off fast..I think it helped me quicken the firing of multiple jabs.. The snap on your elbows is not nearly as jarring with that punch so you can really go balls out.. Just be careful if you haven't done a lot of knuckles down type punches as it uses different wrist muscle to brace on impact. Thinking about it that punch get's to target really fast though not that hard..Might try it the next time I spare.
