Your one of the good ones because as I did the same as the TS and took the Holidays off my coach is starting to kick the crap out of me now for it and im paying lol witch sux!

Surprisingly I did my evening run last night for the second time after the holidays and I actually felt great and didn't really lose that much ground in terms of running stamina. Altho I haven't been to the gym or sparred in over a week and a half now so I don't know how I will do when I go back to sparring on monday.

Just my opinion what can I say History is fun.
Well, I don't necessarily agree with the guy you're quoting, but you do realize alcohol has been around for THOUSANDS of years.

I don't know how long ******* has, but to say that it was in Soda doesn't really lend to the idea of it's longevity.

The thing about ******* is that it didn't originate in any White Western country, where as Alcohol did and White Western society is the predominant one.

yeah man, been about 4 or 5 months since I've done anything of note, put on about 15 pounds but I'm already doing HIIT workouts a couple times a week. Trying to start P90x again but my shoulder is kind of messed up...I want to document the weight loss on a weekly basis.

matter of fact alcohol and coke basicly have the same effect on the body. brain damage, damge to the internal organs, addictiveness and risk of overdose is basicly the same coke being slightly, slightly more dangerous in all areas. but alcohol does far more damage in every way than other drugs like cannabis, lsd and even ecxtacy. FACT.

ppl just dont think for themselves, ppl around them drink so they do the same without questioning it.

i dont judge anyone, ppl should do whatever they want to with their lives without being judged by anyone. but if you choose to do drugs like alcohol boxing just isnt a good idea, its one or the other.
I do agree that alcohol even in small quan****** will have a detrimental effect and on the whole slow you up but for me its always been the phsycological aspect as much as the physical, knowing my system was clean of booze and junk food made me feel that i could push myself and get more out of my body than had i not been looking after myself. Sometimes it can become obsessive like i got to a point last year where if i had even a sip of wine i'd feel like it would really affect my training.
There have been of course numerous champions who have liked to party between fights and drink like fish and still compete at the highest level, although sustained drinking throughout your career would definitely affect longevity in the game.
If i was a pro fighter id keep myself year-round fit, sod going into a gruelling 8 week training camp out of shape
