  • Changing Gyms

Hey everyone I am changing boxing gyms, although I did not attend the classes as much as I should in my last boxing gym.

The new gym is very intense, compared to my old gym. They run about 2 miles before they start (Last gym no running at all). They guys are much younger than I am i would say the majority of the guys age range are from 18-22 years old. I am 27 years old, to tell you the truth i am a little nervous. Me personally i know i am not as fit as those guys.

I need some advice should I walk in there and just start the classes or should i rate a few weeks and try to run more often to catch up with their work rate. The coach is a ex pro from Mexico, he turned pro at 15. Seems like he has lots of knowledge. I am truly excited but at the same time nervous

I am 5'7 165 pounds what should a good weigh be for me

Well they did one time not sure if they do it every practice. Well one of the guys set the place they run is equivalent to two miles he may be wrong.
