Over the last few months I'm finding mostly during sparring, occasionally when miss with a right hand something is happening where my elbow joint will pop out from what I guess is hyper extension but it effectively renders my right hand useless for a while, at first I'd fight thru the pain but recently it has been happening more frequently and painfully. It has been making it harder for me to train as consistently and effects me at work as well as my job requires a good deal of strain on my elbow as well. I tried training with a bulky elbow brace but due to its bulk and weight made it hard for me to throw my right effectively. Has anyone else had these problems, is there anything I can do to keep my elbow from popping out or a lighter weight brace or something I can do to strengthen the joint??? My coach and I feel like I've been making a lot of progress boxing wise but recently constantly aggravating this injury has been derailing that progress and been really frustrating. Any help would be appreciated....
