Hey guys im new to the forum and boxing. Ive got a couple of questions, I want to get into boxing just to get into shape. Any tips on where to start? Im not really looking to go into fights since my parents would more than likely never let me, I just want something to do to let off steam and get into shape. I weigh 123 lbs and am 5'6''. Any heavy bags you would recommend(weight, brand) Also any good videos, dvds, tips for getting the most out of the heavy bag or shadow boxing. Any other boxing equipment I would need besides gloves? I would like to train with a real boxer to show me everything, but living 60 miles from anything really doesnt give me a choice. I already work out every day lifting weights but just want something fun to do. One last question does boxing(training)build muscle mass or is it more for endurance?
