if there's anything i learned about boxing, it truly is a journey of self discovery, you hear of sluggers, boxers, outfighters, infighters, swarmers, blood and guts fighters lol and you've probably tried them all trying to figure out what fits you. i believe these style are extensions of your personality. would you say your personality matches up with your style?
i guess this is for anyone who has gone through a change of fighting style over the years. when you watch boxing, you see a myriad of styles on display from fighters of different shapes, sizes, cultural backgrounds etc. so my question to you amateur boxers is who or what did you try to emulate when you first started boxing? and what style are you using now/retired with? why did you use the initial style and why did you change it? and what were the results of that style change?
