the punches didn't hurt at all, to be honest it was like a normal, not a strong one, but normal punches were thrown to me. while i continued to go on and on and punching and punching cause thats what my coach told me to do. i notice i gas out really soon :-/

So anyways, I'll post some videos and I'd appreciate it if some of the boxing experts out there could give me some constructive critiques on improving. This was my first sparring today and I can see I am throwing arm punches most of the time, will this be corrected if I keep on practicing?

I'm the guy with the blue headgear/gloves and black tanktop and pants.

P.S. AT the first part where the coach hit me I was asking him if the punch I threw before was a low blow, because I was curious. Shouldn't have asked him during sparring though.

            Thanks everyone, and god bless!
To be hionest, it looks like your sparring partner was taking it easy on you. One huge mistake you were making was contiuosly moving to your left. That's moving in the direction of your opponents power punch, the right hand. Also, you need more head movement. But all in all, as a beginner, you did alright. You have pretty good hand speed and good foot work. Just keep sparring and listening to your trainers.

ignore guys thats flaming you..its a start and a good one at that..but don't kid yourself, this is good for getting comfortable and throwing combos..but pick it up a bit more each time, its a different story when you're taking hard shots as well as dishing them...

              gd start i'd say!

Even before the fight started you looked way too nervous and not confident at all. Dont let your opponent know that you are intimidated. Also you were just rushing at him without any guard whatsoever. He was jabbing you all fight long. You should have took a step back and look to set up something. Never look down because you cant see where you're throwing and you cant see what's coming at you. Punches you cant see are the one that will hurt you the most

Also it looked like you werent trying to hit him whenever you threw your right hand. You gotta put some power and mean intentions behind it. But that was your 1st sparring you will become way better over time.

No worries bro! I actually got beat up even worse then this my first couple of times.
I got jelly legs in my second or 3rd "real" sparring.
                    It happens.
This just makes me hate your coach even more for being such a bad coach.
Going from a sparring session were your sparring partner barely punches you, to a full on sparring session without you having a light sparring session was idiotic by him.
                    Also the advice....
"Just don't look at the floor" thats it? no pep talk? no strategy?
You told us before that your coach barely taught you how to defend and how to use head movement. That just shows how much they suck.

You were scared and nervous as any person having their first sparring session would feel.
Another thing that pissed me off was that he put you back in even after you got rocked a couple of times and had nothing left to give.
Lol that guy you sparred with was blood tirsty as **** .

BTW Mike Tyson was know to be emotional after sparring sessions.
Do you know what he did the day after? He knocked them the **** out.

You had a heart of a warrior my friend. Many people would quit after the first punch but you stayed in there and I got to give you props for that
